Description
In 2016 Off-White founder, designer and artistic director of Louis Vuitton menswear Virgil Abloh and sportswear manufacturer Nike joined forces to create the project The Ten and redesigned 10 sneaker icons. Together they conceived a two-part compendium, equal parts catalog and conceptual toolbox. The book documents Ablohs creative process with a lexicon in the second part of the book defining key people, places, objects, ideas, materials and scenes from which the project grew. The artful Swiss binding with open spine emphasizes Ablohs deconstructive approach and design process.
